deco Online Paper Submission

Submitted papers are expected to fit within the subject matter scope of the conference as stated publicly in the conference’s website and Call for Papers. Please, check the EDUNINE Conference Guide to Scope and Quality Criteria (see below) before submitting your paper. Ensure that the English used is clear, concise, and coherent. This is especially important if English is not your first language.

The submitting author, who is generally the contact author, is responsible for the manuscript during the submission and peer-review process. The contact author must ensure that all co-authors have been included in the author list in our submission system (Openconf) and that they have all read and approved the submitted version of the manuscript.

To submit your manuscript:

  1. Register and log in to the submission website using the Make Submission option. Please fill in all the information about the paper and the authors' list. In the “Contact Author” section: choose the author to be contacted by the system from the list of authors you entered in the previous section. Please enter a second author or e-mail address in the “Alternate Contact” field, if you can not be reached by the Contact Author e-mail. Add the EDUNINE e-mail addresses (edunine@edunine.eu and edunine@copec.eu) to your contact list in your e-mail system to avoid that the OpenConf e-mails are reported as spam by your e-mail system. Please check the information and click on the “Make Submission” button to save the information and the system will create a Submission Id for your paper. If the information registration is successful, the system will send an e-mail to the Contact Author with your “Submission Id” (which can also be seen in the message indicating that the process was successful). Please, use this “Submission Id” also for any communication with the chairs about your paper.
  2. Once registered, upload the manuscript file using the Upload File option. Log in with the Submission Id and password you provided during registration. The paper must be submitted as a PDF file (optionally as a MS Word file in DOC or DOCX format). For LaTeX users: use the conference format and submit the paper as a PDF file. Please, contact us at edunine@edunine.eu in case of an error. In the body of the email, include the Submission Id and OpenConf system error and we'll help you resolve the issue. Don't email the file. Due to current privacy laws, we CANNOT upload paper files or update information about papers or authors' personal information.
  3. You can redo the File Upload operation as many times as necessary to update the content of the file until the submission deadline. Each new version replaces the previous one.
  4. To see the uploaded file, please log in with the View File option.
  5. To add, update or delete a paper and/or authors' information, log in with the Edit Submission option. Please don't forget to click on the "Submit Changes" button to make the changes permanent. To improve the processing of the papers, we would appreciate every time you change the paper title, abstract, keywords, and/or authors, you also make the same changes in the information in our submission system using the "Edit Submission" option.
  6. If you wish to withdraw your paper for any reason, email us at edunine@edunine.eu and include the Submission Id in the body of the email. We will delete the file containing the text of the paper and authors' information from the system. The "Withdraw Submission" option is disabled at the authors' request to avoid accidental selection of this option.
