Galileo University

Universidad Galileo is a higher educational entity, the product of 40 years of work and constant effort by a select group of professionals headed by Doctor Eduardo Suger Cofiño, Ph.D., founder and Rector, who has achieved form an educational proposal that is completely different from the traditional one and that is driven by a very clear motto: \"Educating is changing visions and transforming lives.\"

It was authorized by the Consejo de Enseñanza Privada Superior de Guatemala, the governing body of private universities in the country, in October 2000, making it the first university in Guatemala with a technological focus.
